1. Introduction & Operational Scope
Welcome to PassNode Pro by DevNode ("we," "our," or "us"), developed exclusively by DevNode Official (accessible at studio.devnode.sbs). We hold privacy as a fundamental human right. Because passport, visa, and government competitive exam documents contain sensitive facial biometrics and candidate data, PassNode Pro was engineered from the ground up to operate completely local-first.
2. 100% On-Device AI Processing (Local Neural Engine)
PassNode Pro embeds lightweight, state-of-the-art Neural Machine Learning models directly into the Android application binary. When you perform background removal, face detection, or signature enhancement:
- Every single image frame is processed in memory on your phone’s CPU/GPU.
- Zero photos, zero facial landmark coordinates, and zero image metadata are transmitted over the network.
- The application does not maintain or connect to any remote AI processing cloud servers.
- You can verify this guarantee at any time by turning on Airplane Mode before opening the app.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
We believe the best way to protect user data is not to collect it in the first place. We do NOT collect, store, transmit, process, or monetize:
- Your personal identity data (Name, Date of Birth, Address, Email, Phone Number).
- Your raw photos, processed passport photos, or signature captures.
- Facial recognition templates, biometric geometry, or eye/chin coordinate vectors.
- Device identifiers (IMEI, MAC address, Android Advertising ID).
- Location coordinates, IP addresses, or network telemetry.
4. Children’s Privacy & Protection of Minors (COPPA, GDPR Art. 8 & India DPDP Sec. 9)
We treat the privacy of children and minors with supreme priority. Parents and legal guardians frequently use PassNode Pro to take official passport, visa, or school identification photos for infants, toddlers, and children under 18. Our architecture ensures complete protection under international children's privacy laws:
🇺🇸 COPPA Compliance (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act - USA)
PassNode Pro strictly adheres to COPPA requirements. We do not knowingly request, collect, store, or process any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or biometric facial templates from children under the age of 13. Because all photo creation occurs 100% offline locally on the parent’s device, zero child data is ever transmitted or made accessible to third parties.
🇪🇺 EU GDPR Article 8 (Protection of Children’s Personal Data)
Under Article 8 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the processing of personal data of a child is lawful only where consent is given or authorized by the holder of parental responsibility. Because PassNode Pro processes zero data off-device and requires no user registration or cloud sync, parental sovereignty over minor photographs remains 100% intact on the local device.
🇮🇳 India DPDP Act 2023 Section 9 (Processing of Personal Data of Children)
Section 9 of the India Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 mandates strict restrictions on tracking, behavioral monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children. PassNode Pro contains ZERO tracking scripts, ZERO behavioral analytics, ZERO targeted ads, and ZERO profiling tools. Infant and minor photos taken by parents remain strictly on the parent's local phone storage.
5. Government Laws, Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

6. Device Permissions Breakdown & Justification
PassNode Pro requests only the minimal runtime permissions necessary to provide its local utilities:
Camera Permission (android.permission.CAMERA)
Used solely to display a live camera preview with ICAO biometric face oval guides on your screen. Captured preview frames exist only in temporary volatile memory and are immediately discarded after photo capture.
Storage & Media Permission (android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
Used strictly to allow you to select a photo from your local gallery for editing, and to save your finalized 4x6 print sheets, compressed JPEGs, or signature files directly to your phone's Pictures/PassportStudio directory.
7. Zero Third-Party Advertising & Tracking SDKs
PassNode Pro contains NO third-party advertising SDKs (such as Google AdMob, Unity Ads, or AppLovin), NO social tracking pixels (such as Facebook Pixel), and NO analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics). You will never be subjected to ads, popups, data harvesting, or user profiling.
8. Support & Feedback Communications
If you voluntarily submit a support request or bug report via our website form (studio.devnode.sbs/#/support) or email, we receive only the information you explicitly provide (such as your email address, message body, and optional device model). This data is strictly used to reply to your inquiry and is never shared, rented, or sold.
9. Data Security & Local Retention
All photos processed using PassNode Pro reside strictly within your device's local sandboxed memory. They remain under your exclusive control and can be deleted from your phone's gallery at any time.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features or legal requirements. Any modifications will be published directly to this URL with a revised "Effective Date."
